Credit is made where credit is due, and you my friend definitely are due some credit.
Flawless composition. I happen to disagree with the other critique, though, I find that the two men are just perfect, if there were to be any more it would disturb the serenity and dark peacefulness of death itself.
Your vision was perfect, you planned well for this. It must have been tedious finding subjects to shoot naked in colder waters (it seems), congratulations on being so lucky. The only thing I would say about it is that if the men were separated a bit more it would have given a bit more dimension
Now on to technique: I love the movement you've created here with the angle getting the curvature of the river and all. The lighting and your settings are obviously more then sufficient, I love the way the light catches the water creating significant lights and darks (which always makes a good composition). Even your editing is well done although I believe it is almost to the point of being over edited for some reason t me (hence the non-perfect score for technique).
Nonetheless; this is a high impact piece, very original, very technical. I like it.
Absolutely beautiful. I love the idea as well as the way the artist has demonstrated it. The gloomy atmosphere seriously represents the true picture of Hades. The Christan "Hell" is only but one part of the Greek Underworld and I love seeing the eeriness that is Hades. I almost wish there were more bodies simply because when I imagine the river Styx, I have always imagined it full of bodies. However, with there being only two it gives off this essences of despair and loneliness. The dead man float that the men have taken on is perfect if not a little stiff, and the way the water laps around them is absolutely perfect. Wonderful job!
